The very first Rush Christmas Market took place last weekend in the beautiful setting of Kenure Woods, marking a magical start to the festive season for the community. Organised by Rush Tourism, the event brought families, neighbours, local makers and visitors together to celebrate Christmas and support homegrown crafts and businesses.
Christmas Magic With Mrs. Claus Storytelling
Carroll Estates was proud to sponsor Mrs. Claus’ storytelling sessions, which quickly became one of the most cherished moments of the weekend.
Children and parents gathered to listen to festive stories and sing along to Christmas songs, creating memories filled with joy, laughter and a touch of seasonal magic.
A Weekend Full of Festive Fun
Across both days, Kenure Woods was brought to life with:
- Live music and entertainment
- Craft stalls and local artisans
- Food vendors and hot festive drinks
- Walkabout characters including Jack Frost, Rudolph and playful elves spreading cheer throughout the forest
