One such partner is Noel Kelly Auctioneers in Portmarnock, North County Dublin.
The partnership between Carroll Estates and Noel Kelly Auctioneers began over four decades ago and was rooted in a shared vision of delivering homes for the people of North County Dublin. Noel remembers that first meeting with Carroll Estates as being one full of “excitement and potential”. Their first project was the successful development of the now much sought after prestigious Seabury Residences in Malahide.
Bernie and Noel have developed a deep bond over the last four decades of working together and no doubt part of this was influenced by their common values. Bernie and Noel have grown their businesses to include their families, just as each of Bernie’s daughters Roisin and Shauna have central roles in the Carroll Estates, Noel’s son and daughter are also an integral part of the business he started more than 40 years ago.
Together, they have navigated the complexities of the evolving property market, adapting to changes in demand, economic conditions, many huge challenges, and have made sure to enjoy themselves along the way.
Their relationship and common approach has proven productive and beneficial not just for Carroll Estates & Noel Kelly Auctioneers but for their customers as well.
When asked about the longstanding relationship, Noel recounts that his favourite ever development to work on with Carroll Estates was Ashwood Hall in 2018. (Ashwood Hall is located across from Malahide Castle in Dublin)

The partnership between Shane Neilon Plumbing and Carroll Estates which began in 2011 is also built on a foundation of trust, quality workmanship, and mutual respect. Shane is a seasoned plumber with decades of experience, with a well established reputation for excellence. His attention to detail and commitment to meeting the needs of clients align perfectly with the values upheld by Carroll Estates, which prides itself on creating top-tier living and working spaces.
Working with Caroll Estates over the years, Shane has become attuned to the Carroll Estates ethos of trust, friendship and respect, which was epitomised by Bernie Carroll from the first time he met him.
“Bernie Carroll is a genuine great guy who always makes it his business to know everyone on site by their first name and always takes the time to say hello and check in.”
We asked Shane: “Where do you see your partnership/relationship with Carroll Estates in the next 50 years? “And in his own light-hearted manner he told us: “Well considering my age and the conditions of my knees I definitely won’t still be around in 50 years! That said if I continue to partner with Carrolls for the next 27 years I can retire at the young age of 80”.
We are wondering perhaps if he has any family that are in the trade!
Joe Gibbons of Waterman Moylan and Carroll Estates have worked closely together for two decades. Waterman Moylan provide consultant civil and structured engineering services on many of the Carroll Estates residential development sites. From pre-planning through to final completion and hand over of the development.
From the very start, Joe and the team at Carroll Estates formed a strong bond. Joe has this to say about the partnership:

As they look back over the past twenty years, Joe Gibbons wouldn’t say he has a favourite development he worked on, he does however have one that was extremely challenging to get through the planning system. He looks back and remember the real sense of achievement of when they finally did indeed secure the planning permission. Joe voices that he sees the relationship with Carroll Estates continuing to grow over the years to come and he looks forward to working successfully together for many years to come.
